Chris is a certified Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) through the Social Security Administration (SSA); he received his training from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and has been fully certified since 2016. Chris has been working with people with disabilities since 2009, and he joined Infinity Support Services in July 2021. Throughout Chris’ career, he has worked on multiple Social Security projects, each with the goal of helping people with disabilities move towards financial independence and self-sufficiency.
Prior to joining Infinity Support Services, Chris worked for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services providing benefit counseling to beneficiaries enrolled in Social Security’s Promoting Opportunity Demonstration (POD). Before working in POD, Chris managed another Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) program. He has extensive experience in providing the following services to people with disabilities: case management, benefit counseling and job development. He is a proud member of the National Association of Benefits and Work Incentive Specialists (NABWIS).
He believes work is empowering to all beneficiaries, and he appreciates the opportunity to serve them in reaching their employment goals.
In his free time, Chris enjoys reading, hiking, and throwing pottery.
